Hispanic buyers become a bigger and bi-cultural market

The growing majority of the U.S. Hispanic market is not the Spanish speaking, foreign-born immigrant community of twenty-years ago. A new generation has emerged with its own set of nuances which marketers must come to understand. Census 2010 shows that Hispanic children are the driving force in this segment's recent growth, accounting for roughly one in four children under the age of ten in the U.S. Additionally, Census middle estimates say that 20 percent of U.S. residents between the ages of 10 and 20 are Hispanic.
