Intensely fragrant Viognier |

| Summary: The Viognier grape is actually one of the most intensely fragrant varieties. Tasting this wine is a real pleasure. It is dry, but not bone dry. All the fruitiness gives a mellow and sweetish impression. The wine is best described as having a medium weight in your mouth and it is mouth-filling. The balance is very fine and although Viognier wines never nearly have the racy acidity of a Riesling, this wine cleans up your palate (done mostly by the acidity in a wine) quite nicely. It feels smooth and well balanced and tastes flavorfully. It has a nice long finish. It has 12.5% alcohol just like a classical European food wine, making it perfect to have a glass or two with dinner.
